Double-click a button, field or row in your capture and Screen Slinger selects exactly that — no drawing boxes by hand. A menu opens right under it: frame, highlight, blur, arrow, callout or text in one click, or drag that piece somewhere else.
Instant region capture
Press PrintScreen, drag, done. Hover and Screen Slinger highlights the window under the cursor; the mouse wheel narrows it to the panel or table — click to capture exactly that. A timer for menus that close, the cursor included when it matters. And if Windows or another app has already claimed PrintScreen, Screen Slinger can take it over for you.
Automatic scrolling capture
Pick the region and Screen Slinger scrolls it for you: stops at the bottom by itself, spots sticky headers so they appear only once, and stitches everything pixel-accurately into one tall image. Too tall? Cut out the middle and the halves join up.
Arrows, shapes & text
Clean annotations with full control of color, thickness and fill. Move and restyle while you work; Pro keeps every capture editable. Tick “auto size” and text grows and shrinks with its box as you resize it.
Real blur for privacy

What are the free limits?
3 step numbers per image, 5 scrolling captures every 30 days, one pin at a time. History shows your latest 20 captures, without search. Your latest 5 captures stay editable; older ones open to view, copy and export. Automatic hiding, smart selection, custom colors and saved styles are in Pro.

Questions & answers
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. No extra runtimes needed. Use the signed installer, or the portable executable if you would rather not install anything.
Do my screenshots get uploaded anywhere?
No. Your captures stay on your computer: they are saved to a folder you choose on your own disk, and the app doesn't upload them. The app connects to the internet to activate a license and check for updates: it checks your license key when you activate it and, each time it starts, asks screenslinger.com whether a newer version exists. It downloads an update only if you choose to install it. None of this sends your screenshots, files or usage data.
What happens after the first 30 days?
It keeps working as the free version, with no time limit, and nothing is deleted. Capturing, marking up, blurring, copying and saving all stay. The Pro extras step down to the free limits listed in the pricing section, and older captures open to view, copy and export. A license opens everything again, including those older captures.
Is it really pay-once? No subscription?
Yes. One-time payment, no subscription. Updates released for version 3 are included. A future major version, if there ever is one, is not included.
What's the refund policy?
Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, the seller of record, and any refund request is decided under their policy. That is why your first 30 days include every feature, so you can be sure before you pay.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes — deactivate it in the app (License window) and activate on the new machine with the same key.
